Christina Caljé, AI4Her Legacy Award Finalist, on creating real-world impact

Christina Caljé is an entrepreneur, board leader, and storyteller working at the intersection of frontier technology, society, and public trust. Born and raised in New York City, Christina began her career as an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs before founding Autheos, an AI-powered video technology company acquired in 2021.

That experience, scaling a frontier technology within real commercial, regulatory, and ethical constraints, shaped the focus of her next chapter.

Since her exit, Christina has spent several years as an active angel investor, with a significant portion of her portfolio backing founders from underrepresented backgrounds building solutions in sustainability, democratized finance, and applied AI.

Alongside her personal angel investing, Christina carries out her advisory and ecosystem work through her firm, TINTT (Too Important Not To Try), where she serves as Founder and CEO. In this capacity, she advises the VC ecosystem, bringing a founder-led perspective to identifying frontier technologies with both economic upside and societal relevance.

Her work sits at the intersection of capital allocation, governance, and long-term technological stewardship, with an investment lens focused on AI, quantum, and science-based innovation capable of fundamentally reshaping critical systems.

Bridging Capital, Knowledge, and Community

A forthcoming expression of this work is Stories From the Lab, a documentary and short-form series currently in pre-production. Through the series, Christina is exploring frontier technology companies and research environments across Europe to understand how cutting-edge innovations are transitioning from lab to real-world use. Guided by curiosity rather than technical expertise, the series translates complex science into accessible narratives, examining how Europe’s most advanced technologies are beginning to shape society.

In parallel with her investment and advisory work, Christina holds senior governance roles across Europe’s education and cultural sectors. She serves as Board Chair of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam School of Business & Economics and as Treasurer of the Friends of the Amsterdam Museum.

Across investing, governance, and storytelling, Christina’s work reflects a consistent belief: that the future of frontier technology will be shaped not only by what is built, but by who understands it, who guides it, and how early society is invited into the conversation.
